By the year 2396 Starfleet had once again moved towards exploration but they had learned from the past. The biggest lesson that was learnt the Marine Corps, the Marines were once deployed in large forces that while offered massive fire power they had very little versatility. So in 2380 Starfleet Marines were reorganised into smaller units that in turn can be broken down into smaller units (squad sizes) that can be deployed and given leeway in carrying out their mission objectives.
By 2390 these units have proved themselves in many situations, then in 2395 the 22nd Squad of the 5th Marine Rifles were engaged while on a training mission on the Federation boarder. Until that day this alien species had not been encountered, after a year of fighting the Federation is still none the closer to finding the origin of the insectoid species nicknamed �The Bugs� by the troopers on the ground.

The Beko is closing so please make your minds up, If you wish to continue posting as a Marine in EF then please Join Langley Station at the following URL.

The Ghosts are being moved there, Katie is already over there. Their role will remain the same in other words looking for the Tenzim but their location will change (i.e Langley Station) and their mode of transport will change to one of the Escorts...

You know i like to keep you up to date.
So here it is:
I am not happy in EF (the fleet we are in)...
I of course don't want to leave but i can see the end for this fleet already and it is less than a year old. Now i am by no means decided on what i will do and your input is of course welcome. I feel that this RPG has lost it's way, this is of course my problem and not yours, those of you that have posted have done very well and i am proud of your continued help in this...
However if i do leave EF i will NOT being taking the Beko with me, as far as i know this will be placed on the inactive list and you will all be offered a post on another ship/station in the fleet. Please look at the other ships now just in case...
On another note, i am thinking of taking another command in OF, a fresh start on a Nova class starship... If you wish to follow then i will be happy to have you all. The Nova Class doesn't have Marines but i intend to have the Sec Department a joint Marine/Starfleet department (as i do on all my ships)...
Reading this back i guess i have all but made up my mind haven't I? well i am not sure, i want to command in OF but i can't forget the ass hatish deal they gave me last time, but nor can i forget the idiots (some of) that make up the Advisory Council in EF... Thus i am at a cross roads... I am Placing the Station on a 7 day LOA (until i finish work for the School Term) i will decide by then...
